Khaolak Palm Beach Resort - Khao Lak

Great hotel with its free Wi-Fi, outdoor swimming pool, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me with a late check-out during my first stay, and I loved the beautiful gardens. I recommend it for a relaxing vacation!

Friendly staff, nice setting

My bed was very firm/hard, therefore I didn't sleep very well. My back is still aching!

Location: the hotel was close to a quiet beach in Khao Lak, towards the end of the beach next to a national park, South Thailand and very beautiful green garden. The pool was lovely, the staff was especially helpful. The breakfast was great with a lot of delicious options.

The resort offers fine views of the beach and is perfect for swimming with calm waters. The cleanliness and comfort of the Beautiful Villa Spa Bath. The ample loungers by the large swimming pool provided a great spot for relaxation.

The position of the hotel is great. Right on the beach.

The sea site villa we booked for more than double the price of a normal room wasn't really a villa. The size of the room is actually the same size than a normal double room except you get a jacuzzi bath... And you can't see the sea. So, if you decide to go there, book a normal room or if you really want a a sea site villa book at the Khaol Lak Resort a bit further north.

The location near the beautiful beach offered fine views . Our room was really clean and very comfortable, great to enjoy our stay fully. The large swimming pool had plenty of loungers available, perfect for relaxation during our family time.

The breakfast options , while good, could use some variety to appeal to different preferences.

Great location, wonderful section of beach, lovely feel to the resort, the free internet room was handy, great staff, fab breakfast!

The garden villas were lovely but each villa has 2 rooms and the walls between the 2 rooms are very thin! I sometimes felt my neighbours were in the same room!

The room was beautiful and tasteful, we had an electric kettle and a fridge.

The traditional architecture and fine garden created a tranquil atmosphere. Enjoying breakfast by the pool with fantastic views was a highlight. Prolong your stay. We canceled plans to add more days! Perfect spot for family relaxation.

The spacious room featured a lovely balcony with hillside views, and I appreciated the daily replenishment of water and coffee. Navigating the steep terrain was quite a challenge, especially without a buggy service. The main pool area felt overcrowded due to sunbed shortages, and the restaurant's limited vegetarian options left much to be desired. Enjoyable beaches were overshadowed by the lackluster dining experiences, made me opt for meals outside the hotel after the first night.

The spacious rooms are a highlight, particularly for families, as they feature nice balconies with views and essential amenities. The beach setup is appealing, with a pleasant swimming experience due to its relatively calm waters, deeper than you might expect.

Navigating the steep hills to your room can be exhausting, especially without a shuttle service. The restaurant offers a limited menu and lacks in vegetarian options, and diners may find themselves walking to the village for better meals. Breakfast is basic and misses the mark on variety-the same fare can get old pretty quickly after a few days. The pool, while nice, can feel cramped due to a shortage of sun loungers, especially with early risers claiming the best spots. Wi-Fi connectivity is inconsistent, which can be a hassle for those looking to stay connected. It's a mix of positives and areas in need of improvement.

Had a very relaxing stay in September. Reasonably spacious and tasteful units with a nice bathroom. - the staff were outstandingly friendly. - An electric kettle and a fridge were very handy.
